Whole-home heating and cooling, designed around your house and installed by a local, licensed team. New installs, replacements, zoning upgrades, repairs and servicing, from Berry to Ulladulla.
Whether it's a new system, a tired old one or one that just isn't keeping up, we look after ducted air conditioning from the first site visit to ongoing servicing.
For existing homes. We check your roof space, where the outdoor unit can go and where the outlets and return air grille will work best before we quote.
Bring us in before the plasterboard goes up and the duct runs, outlets and bulkheads can go exactly where you want them. Why timing matters.
Noisy, struggling or costing too much to run? We assess the unit and the existing ductwork and tell you what can stay and what should be replaced.
Control zones or individual rooms from a wall panel or your phone, so you only heat and cool the rooms you're using. About AirTouch.
Breakdowns, poor airflow and routine maintenance for all major ducted brands. Repairs & servicing.
Ducted isn't right for every home. If one or two split systems would suit you better, we'll tell you.
A ducted system that's too small runs flat out and still struggles on the hottest and coldest days. One that's too big switches on and off, feels uneven and doesn't dry the air properly. We size every system around:
Both have their place. Here's how they compare for a typical Shoalhaven home.
| Ducted | Split systems | |
|---|---|---|
| Rooms covered | The whole home from one system | One room or open area per indoor unit |
| What you see | Ceiling vents and a wall controller | A unit on the wall of each room |
| Control | By zone, or room by room with AirTouch | Each unit on its own remote |
| Upfront cost | Higher | Lower for one or two rooms |
| Best for | Whole-home comfort, new builds and renovations | Single rooms, or homes without usable roof space |

You get the manufacturer's warranty on the unit — five years on most brands we install and ten on Midea — plus our own workmanship guarantee.

A clean, round outlet that suits most ceilings. Shown here in an open-plan living and kitchen area.
Spreads air in several directions at once, a common choice for living areas.
Mounted high on the wall rather than in the ceiling, an option for raked ceilings and rooms where a ceiling outlet isn't practical.
A slim, continuous slot that almost disappears into the ceiling or bulkhead.
Where air is drawn back to the unit. The filter usually sits just behind it, so it's easy to reach for cleaning.
Finished in black to sit neatly in a timber-lined ceiling.

We recommend the right unit for your home — not the one with the biggest margin.
It depends on the size of your home, the number of zones, the capacity of the unit and how easy the roof space is to work in. A typical single-storey three or four bedroom Shoalhaven home is a very different job from a two-storey house with a tight roof. We visit, measure and give you a fixed written quote — no estimates over the phone that change on the day.
Most Shoalhaven homes have enough roof space for the indoor fan-coil unit and the ductwork. Low-pitch roofs, skillion roofs and some slab-on-ground homes need a closer look, and occasionally a bulkhead or a slimline unit is the answer. We check access, clearances and where the outlets can go before we quote, so there are no surprises.
A zone is a group of rooms you control together. Most family homes work well with three to five zones — for example living areas, the main bedroom and the other bedrooms. With AirTouch you can control every room individually from your phone, which means you only condition the rooms you're using.
Not when it's sized and zoned properly. Modern inverter systems ramp up and down rather than switching on and off, and zoning means you're not cooling empty rooms. A correctly sized ducted system with zoning usually costs less to run than several split systems going at once. We'll show you the energy rating of the unit we recommend.
If you want whole-home comfort with nothing on the walls, ducted is the better long-term choice and adds value at resale. If you only need one or two rooms conditioned, splits are cheaper and simpler. We'll give you an honest recommendation for your house and how you live in it — not the option with the biggest margin.
Usually one to two days depending on the size of the home and roof access. We confirm the timing in your quote, arrive when we say we will, and leave the house clean with the system commissioned and the controller set up.
Yes. We look at the old unit and the existing ductwork together. Ducts and outlets that are in good condition and the right size can often stay; ducting that is old, damaged or too small for the new unit is better replaced while we're in the roof. We'll tell you which is which before we quote, and it's worth asking about rebates for upgrading an older system.
Yes, though it isn't always a straight swap of the controller. Sometimes extra zone motors are needed, or the ductwork layout has to be changed so the system still runs efficiently once it's zoned. We'll look at your system and tell you exactly what's involved before you spend anything.
Yes, and the earlier you talk to us the better. Planning the unit, duct runs, outlets and return air grille before the plasterboard goes up gives you more options, fewer bulkheads and a neater result than fitting it in at the end of the build.
Midea, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Fujitsu and LG, with AirTouch zoning. Most of the brands we install offer a five-year manufacturer's warranty on residential systems and Midea offers ten. We'll recommend the unit that suits your home and budget rather than pushing one brand.
Yes. We repair and maintain ducted systems for all major brands, including ones we didn't install. Regular servicing keeps the filters, coil and drain clean and helps the system run efficiently.
